RESOLUTION HONORING FRANK LYON FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE INGHAM COUNTY HISTORICAL COMMISSION

RESOLUTION #03-001

�

WHEREAS, Frank Lyon began serving on the Historical Commission in October of 1993; and

�

WHEREAS, during his tenure on the Historical Commission, Frank took a leadership role serving in the capacity of Secretary; and

�

WHEREAS, Frank played a key role in the recent re-establishment of the Historical Commission enabling the Commission to set goals and fulfill its mission; and

�

WHEREAS, Frank conducted numerous tours of the Ingham County Courthouse educating the public and students on the history behind the building and the County of Ingham; and

�

WHEREAS, as a member and Secretary, Frank has served as a model of decorum and integrity in the conduct of public affairs.

�

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor Frank Lyon for his years of dedicated service to the Ingham County Historical Commission and the citizens of Ingham County.

�

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board wishes him continued success in all of his future endeavors.
